Kay Makaryan arrived from Armenia to the United States in 2001. He fell in love with United States, but not with the way visa workers were treated by temporary staffing companies. Kay vowed to change how stuffing companies were run and created this premium workforce management company.
As CEO of Regal Hospitality Solutions, Kay Makaryan is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the company. His insight and entrepreneurial talents have led to numerous opportunities to mold the company's technology and services into a powerful set of solutions with tangible value to clients and sustainable assets for Regal Hospitality Solutions. Kay Makaryan has a bachelor degree from the Yerevan State University.
Kay attended Yerevan State University of Economics, in the Republic of Armenia, where he earned a degree in Business, Government and Corporate Finance. This experience proved invaluable during the formative stages of Regal Hospitality Solutions, where Kay personally developed each facet from the idea stage to creating a solid, functioning business model.
Michael Chesley is a 23-year hospitality veteran with a degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and joined the Regal Hospitality Solutions team in 2008.
Michael’s tenure includes working on the Las Vegas Strip, working with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Holiday Inn, Hilton and Marriott International as well as holding various executive positions in the rooms, food and beverage, and sales departments until becoming a General Manager in 1996.
After leaving Marriott International, he opened his own critically acclaimed restaurant in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Michael was named Restaurateur of the year in 2005 by the New Mexico Restaurant Association. Michael’s other positions of note are Chairman of the Board of the Albuquerque Convention and Visitors Bureau in 2003 and President of the International Food Service Executives in 2001. Michael is involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of New Mexico and the New Mexico Cancer Center Duke City Marathon in Albuquerque.
Susie Blackinton has been partnering with Regal Hospitality Solutions since October 2006. She is currently working with the resort markets of South Carolina and Orange Beach, Alabama, accommodating their staffing needs.
The key to her success is her hospitality background. Susie holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Hotel Administration. Susie spent the next 15 years working with Caesars Corp., Soho Grand and Tribeca Grand Hotels, Fairmont Hotels and Destination Hotels and Resorts, working in markets to include Lake Tahoe, CA, Manhattan, NY and Washington, DC. Her experience reaches every aspect of hotel operations which is invaluable when helping her clients through the staffing process.
Agnieszka holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from University of Adam Mickiewicz and Master of Arts in Hospitality Management from the Academy of Physical Education in Poznan, Poland.
Her passion for international travel and adventures brought her to the US in 2005. Since then, Agnieszka has been involved in business development, international recruitment and staffing, and various marketing projects for RHS.
